Here is a list of frequently asked questions about our web design services, it is by no means an exhaustive list, it just covers the basics.  If you have any questions which are not covered - please contact us using the contact form or drop us an email......

Q How much will my website cost?

A Have a look at our pricing page - this will give an idea as to cost.  Please bear in mind that all websites are different and some require more work than others.  Its always best to give us details of your requirements and we will give you our best quote - give us a try!!!

Q How long does my website take?

A Websites can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.  The biggest factor is receiving all of the text, photos, logos and information which needs to be included from the client.  If we receive all information needed, and the layout has been approved - it is normally 2 to 4 weeks.  We give regular progress updates and would agree an approximate finish date at the beginning.

Q How do we get started?

A Normally you supply as much detail as is possible as to what your site should look like and information which would be vital to the web design process - all this is done via email and telephone;

  • Do you have a domain name or do you need one?
  • Do you have your own web space or do you need some organising?
  • Do you have a logo or artwork to be included?
  • Are there any websites which are similar to what you want?
  • Do you need any special features, slideshows; videos; contact form; blog?

once we feel we know exactly what your site needs to be, we can work out a timeline and send you a proposal of costs, timescales and next steps

Q What is included in my proposal?

A Your proposal will include all costs associated with the project, including any domain name fees, hosting fees for the first year. Anything additional to the initial proposal may incur extra charges, however unless there are dramatic revisions needed, it is unlikely as we are fairly flexible.

Q Do I need to pay anything upfront?

A The short answer is yes. You will need to pay for your domain name (if you do not have one), webspace (if you do not have any) and 30% of the total agreed fee (which would include domain name/webspace) for the site before any work can be started.

Q What happens when site is completed?

A You will need to approve and pay. All information regarding the domain name, hosting and other items purchased on your behalf will be turned over to you and will be yours to do with whatever you wish.  We will keep a copy of the information for any future reference, or as a backup (this will be included within the proposal). We would put information on the footer of your site with a reference to Adswebsolutions.net and also any terms and conditions you would want to have displayed.
